Windows 8 | Windows 8 Beta

Now that Microsoft has released Windows 7, it is time to focus on Windows 8. Microsoft always starts working on the next operating system as soon as one is released. In Microsoft Windows 8, the user interface will be changed.

The new operating system can be called Midori, but there is no confirmation at this time what the real name will be. At this point, known as Windows 8.

8 window operating system is no longer scheduled to be released until late 2011 or early 2012. Basically that is 2-3 years after launching the current operating system, which is Windows 7. It is very probable, however, that Microsoft will ship the new Windows8 2011.

At this point, is not totally know what will be included in the Windows operating system 8. The Windows team has announced some of the features include, but not all. The current list will close in late 2010 when Microsoft probably will release the first beta to the public.

Today, Windows operating systems run on both 32 bits or 64 bits. It's too complicated for software developers to maintain dual-processor codes. It is rumored that the operating system Windows 8 will be offered in 64-bit and 128 bit versions. Practically all modern processors supports 64-bit computing. Many people hope that the support went from 32-bit Windows 8. However, this probably will not happen. By the time Windows 8 is ready to launch, the cost of 128-bit chips will remain too expensive for the average consumer purchase. Most likely processors, 128-bit Windows is only used in 8 servers.
